Your Guide to Content Perfection
Writing, editing, project management and more. If you have already found your voice or have yet to put pen to paper, I can help. My services vary. I can manage your entire industry magazine, or simply write a few lines of copy for your ad campaign. Because in the end, it's the words that matter.
No rush. Just a casual conversation about your goals for your content project.
As a dedicated project manager, deadlines are my guide. When you hire me, your project is my project, and completing each task efficiently, on time and on message sets me apart.

MY NAME IS LAUREN
As a lifelong writer, my passion has always been the written word. Pursuing English Literature and writing in college, I honed my skills while working in media, project management, and publishing. Putting it all together is what I do best.
Whether I'm managing a publication, copywriting, or technical writing, your project is my project. Check out some of the amazing people and companies I've had an opportunity to work with along the way.
Rapid Growth Media
As the Managing Editor for Rapid Growth Media, an Issue Media Group publication, I drive the editorial vision and mission and coordinate all content, including managing project editors for special sections or series, manage freelance writers and photographers, contribute feature articles, edit all content, and manage social media for the publication. I also get to write really cool stories about amazing people.
Grand Rapids Christian Schools Annual Report
Grand Rapids Christian schools hired me in the summer of 2017 to transform the Annual Report, formerly a largely data-driven publication, into an engaging, content-forward magazine that represented their culture and mission as a school. I manage this entire project from start to finish, as well as write and edit content.
DGRI & Metrica downtown census
In the summer of 2016, I was hired by Métrica, Inc., to translate and editorialize years of data on the downtown population of Grand Rapids. What resulted was an efficient, informative document that told the story of GR's changing downtown residents.
